Hebron High School
On behalf of the students and staff of Hebron High School, welcome to our school’s web page.
Hebron High School is located on Highway 2, halfway between Valparaiso and Lowell and is about six miles east of Interstate 65. We are a small school with a big family feel. The school and its activities have a long standing tradition of excellence and pride and are the central focus of the community. We offer an outstanding curriculum with a wide range of academic programs and excellent co- and extra-curricular opportunities. Yet, we are small enough to give attention to, and work with, individual students.
Hebron High School is a state-of-the-art building that opened in the Fall of 2005. Our building offers an excellent computer to student ratio as well as having a 600 seat auditorium and 2010 seat gymnasium. Both the gym and auditorium have a state-of-the-art sound system with outstanding lighting. The music facilities were designed for award winning performance rehearsals and recording. With the modern furnishings in each classroom, every room can be adapted to any and all teaching scenarios that best fit the lessons and the learning situations and styles of all students.
Our highly competent, motivated, and caring faculty and staff ensure the family nature of our school community. All teachers are accessible to students, parents, and the community through e-mails and telephones that are located in every classroom.

Hebron High School Belief Statement (revised 10/02, reviewed 10/03, 02/05, 08/05, revised 04/06)
We believe education is a shared responsibility for all students, parents, staff, and community. Therefore:
- it is essential that communications from school to home are easy for parents to understand;
- parents are the child’s first and most important teachers, making their active participation in the home, school, and community vital to education;
- schools should address the emotional and physical needs, as well as the academic needs of the students;
- the school should encourage students to participate in curricular activities, extracurricular programs and service learning activities between the school and community, which will serve to enhance the educational process;
- our educational facilities will provide a safe, healthy, effective, attractive, and nurturing learning environment;
- we must teach a respect for cultural diversity to contribute to an enriched learning society;
- schools and teachers need to use a variety of approaches and materials for learning to take place since children learn in different ways and at different paces;
- an excellent, well-trained staff needs continual growth and the support of the total educational system;
- high expectations lead to high achievement;
- we need to create a community of students who are learners, rather than merely students who are learned.
