The mission of the MSD of Boone Township is to educate and prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s challenges.
Mission, Vision, and Belief Statements
In January of 2018, a team of educators from the Indiana Middle Level Educators Association (IMLEA) recognized Hebron Middle School as a National “School to Watch” for the third time! This accomplishment is due to the hard work and dedication of the students and staff at Hebron Middle School. Then, in April of 2018, the district hosted a team of educators from AdvancEd to help us look at how we can improve as a district. We are excited to report that the district was awarded continued accreditation through AdvancEd! Improvement processes such as Schools to Watch and AdvancEd shows the commitment that the MSD of Boone Township has to delivering a high quality education to the students at Hebron. Thank you to all of the parents, students and staff that filled out surveys and served on committees last school year.
The 2018-19 school year will see a change at the 6th grade level. After 40 years of teaching, Mrs. Reinhold is now retired. Mrs. Reinhold taught 6th grade Science and is excited to start her retirement. Thank you and congratulations to Mrs. Reinhold for 40 years of educating students in the town of Hebron!
Mrs. Rebecca Moser will be replacing Mrs. Reinhold in 6th grade Science. Mrs. Moser most recently has been teaching 4th grade in the elementary. She is very excited to accept the opportunity to teach at Hebron Middle School, and we are excited to have her join the team!
This August, the middle school office will become safer and have a new look. The office will be in the same location, but doors are being installed for people to access the office first, before making their way into the rest of the building. The middle school will also be getting more parking spaces and sidewalks for those who need to come to the office.
We are looking forward to many exciting opportunities during the upcoming school year. This all starts with the Hebron Middle School Open House on Monday, August 13th. The open house will start in the gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. Parents and students will then have an opportunity to meet their grade level team teachers, walk the halls, open their lockers and see their classrooms.
Please be looking for an email regarding online registration at the middle school starting July 17th. You will have an opportunity to sign forms, change demographics, and get your student’s schedule for the year. A link will arrive to your inbox on or around July 17th.
I hope that everyone takes advantage of the last few weeks of summer, and I hope to see everyone here for the Hebron Middle School Open House on August 13th starting at 6:30 p.m!
