Frequently Asked Questions:

This upcoming school year, we will only have one classroom available as this is a new program for the MSD of Boone Township.  This academy may expand in the coming years, but for our first year we must start small.

  2. Is there a cap on the number of students you will be accepting?
Our 3-4 year old, half day classes will not have more than 20 students in either session.  Our 4-5 year old class will be limited to 24 students.

  3. What is the cost and are there any income eligibility requirements at this time?
The 3-4 year old half day class is $115 per month.  The 4-5 year old full day class is $300 per month.  At this time we are only accepting tuition students, but are looking at programs that will help those families who need assistance.

  4. What are the hours and days?
Our 3-4 year old students can attend one of two sessions.  A morning session that runs from 8:45 am until 11:15 am.  The afternoon session will run from 11:45 am until 2:15 pm.  This 3-4 year old class will be every Tuesday and Thursday when school is in session.

Our 4-5 year old students can attend a full day program on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s when school is in session.  The 4-5 year old full day program will be from 8:45 am until 2:15 pm.  We may have some students in this 4-5 year old program that will be half day students.  This depends on availability.

  5. Do you provide transportation from home or to local daycare centers?
Transportation will not be provided.  However two of our local daycare centers have spaces within our schools to accommodate working parents before and after school.  If your child is in the full day 4-5 year old program and you need before or after school care we can provide contact information.

  6. Will meal service be provided?
Full day students (4-5 year old) will be given time each day they are at school for lunch.  Due to the pandemic, all school meals (breakfast and lunch) have been free for students at the MSD of Boone Township, however, this federal supplement can or may expire.  Students may also bring their lunch to school if preferred.

  7. Does my child need to be potty trained?
Students must be potty trained upon the start of the school year.  We do understand that accidents happen, so we will require that a change of clothes is at school in case this does occur.
