From the desk of Dr. Nathan Kleefisch, Superintendent:

I am happy to announce the formation of the Hebron Schools Education Foundation, Inc. The foundation was formally approved as a 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service in December, 2016. Individuals making up the seven member board were carefully selected based on their good character, commitment to Hebron schools and the Hebron community, their financial savvy, their ability to work well with others, their high energy/enthusiasm and their vision to improve opportunities for ALL students attending our Hebron Schools.

The Hebron Schools Education Foundation Board of Directors are: Tom Carroll, Sue Franzman, Steve Hallberg, Tom Neuffer, Peggy Patrick, Ann Marie Patz, and Jamie White.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for their commitment to serve as a founding member of the Hebron Schools Education Foundation Board. The Board's primary role will be to oversee donations made to the Foundation, adherence to federal and state laws relative to charitable organizations and to ensure that the donor's wishes regarding their donation are appropriately carried out.

We would also like to thank Dr. Peter and Mrs. Margie Blank for their very generous donation to the foundation.  Dr. Blank served on the Hebron School Board for a total of 8 ½ years, retiring on December 13, 2016.  He and Margie donated the earnings he received while sitting on the School Board, more than $25,000.00, to the Hebron Schools Education Foundation.  They have requested that a $1,000.00 gift go to the Hebron High School Valedictorian at the end of each school year. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation and thank Dr. Peter Blank for his time and commitment serving the needs of our students, staff and our school community while serving on our School Board.

Anyone interested in making a donation to the Foundation may call the Superintendent's Office at 219-996-4771, ext. 121 to make arrangements to meet with the Foundation president.
