NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY AND INVITATION TO CANDIDATES FOR SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERSHIP
 

The Metropolitan School District of Boone Township Board of School Trustees is seeking letters of intent to fill an At-Large open seat on the Board of School Trustees, following the resignation of Keith Cunningham effective November 15, 2025.

The length of this appointment will be from December 9, 2025 through December 31, 2028.

BOARD QUALIFICATIONS

In order to fill this School Board vacancy, a candidate must:
 

1. Reside within any of the three Boone Township districts (District Boundaries Map Link) and;
2. be at least 21 years of age.
    

TIMELINE

1. 10/30/25: Letter of Interest and resume due
2. 11/04/25: Interviews at the Special School Board Meeting at 6:00 pm
3. 12/09/25: Appointment of School Board Member at Regular School Board Meeting at 7:00 pm
